Directors

Nutri and Flora is a client centred and caring nutrition Consultant Company. The company is formed by Florence Malongane as a managing director.

Malongane Florence holds a BSc Dietetics degree from University of Limpopo (Medunsa) and Master of Science in Public Nutrition from the University of Venda. She has completed her Doctorate degree in the study of tea with interest in indigenous plants. 

She worked in the public sector as a Clinical Dietitian for 12 years and then moved into the corporate world, working as a medical delegate for Nestle nutrition for two years. She is currently a lecturer in the College of Agriculture and Environmental science, University of South Africa (Unisa) where she lectures nutrition.

She is also involved in community engagement projects, assisting schools in National School Nutrition Program and held media interview with Metro FM, Rainbow FM and Unisa FM. Florence is registered on the Discovery Vitality Dietician Network and thus is accredited to perform Discovery Vitality Nutrition assessments. She is also part of Woolworths Dietitian Network, serving the community through nutrition educational talks and moms store tours.

She is a firm believer in disease prevention through lifestyle changes and has more interest in wellness days and employee wellness. Her biggest personal motivation is to see every member of society attaining their uttermost good nutritional status. She enjoys public speaking and presentations.

Florence is registered with the Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA). She is a member of ADSA, Nutrition Society of South Africa (NSSA) and a member of South African Association of family ecology and consumer science (SAAFECS).
